The Sherpa’s mid-sized blades are an ideal fit for the great majority of average size paddlers. River Running design with a more pronounced tip and more surface area above the center of the blade, the blade is optimized for a better forward stroke. Dihedral blade shape was created to direct water to flow evenly off each side of the blade creating a smooth and stable stroke. A low profile reinforcement spine allows for enhanced blade maneuverability when linking several strokes, and provides blade stiffness and overall strength. Werner’s fiberglass blades are known for durability and are the most impact and abrasion resistant. Built for the rigors of the whitewater environment, the fiberglass shafts have the highest level of strength, combined with perfected texture, flex and light weight and are designed for your body to feel strain free without giving up bomber reliability. Standard feather angle is R30.
The Sherpa Bent Shaft aligns your wrists in a more ergonomic position; reduce fatigue, gain the confidence of full hand contact. Neutral Bent means blade, ferrule and grip in a straight line for a familiar feel of a straight shaft. Dial in your fit for better control, more comfort and less fatigue: the small diameter shaft is a better fit for paddlers with smaller hands or those wearing gloves.
