When opening a Sea-Lect Captive Pin Shackle, the pin completely clears the opening of the shackle and is recessed into a secured flush position, the pin remains captive and will not fall out. With other shackles, the pin is not flush until you partially unscrew it. Forged stainless steel. Max. line size is 3/8"
