Demo on Demand (call to schedule - limited availability of models)

Are there no on-water demo events scheduled anytime soon, or you can't make one of our regularly scheduled demos? Want to spend more time on a particular kayak than a demo day will allow? Or do you want to compare two boats with one of our staff to give you more information while on the water? Then schedule a Demo On Demand. This private demo by appointment will give you the flexibility to paddle the 2 boats of your choosing during the week at one of our local lakes. Two-hour time blocks during both the morning and afternoon is available. Cost - $50/ per person to demo 2-3 kayaks.

On-Water Demo Events

Interested in trying kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding for the first time? Want to try out a specific type or model of a kayak before making a purchase? Then Get:Outdoors has put together an on-water demo just for you!

Throughout the paddling season, Get:Outdoors hosts on-water demo days where we bring a representative selection of our most popular kayaks and/ or stand up paddleboards (SUP) to local lakes where you have an opportunity to try them out. We encourage you to try several boats and boards as you learn to paddle or work to narrow down your options before making a purchase. When possible, we want you to spend time paddling before you buy.

New for 2024 - we will be hosting weekday evening category specific mini demo events, with only kayaks from one particular category (i.e. - Recreational or Touring, or Fishing). Demos geared toward one style of paddling means less to chose from, making it easier to make decisions about what type of kayak to purchase.

*Personal flotation devices are provided and must be worn properly at all times while using our boats or boards on the water.*
